Steam vr hp reverb setup

Steam will capture the boundary from WMR home. You can turn off the boundary from the WMR settings and steam will lose the boundary as well. You can run through the steam boundary setup, but WMR will over-ride it the next time you start it from what I can tell, so it's not very useful to run through the steam setup unfortunately.
I attended the stream. Look like work need both from HP/Steam and Laminar to completely resolve this issue with the controller. In the mean time I got old WMR controller from Samsung Odyssey+ to work with G2 HMD. Here is what I did. Open "HP Reverb Virtual Reality Headset" app. The pairing time is only few sec.

@Shadowmask72 - Do you know if you get a 2 year warranty with Systemactive like you do with HP Store for the first HP Reverb? I don't like 1 year warranties on things like VR headsets given the problems they have.
